JJMac use the latest 3D and GPS technology to create safe and quality earthworks projects for our clients. JJMac civil engineering own and maintain their own GPS enabled plant and equipment and have in house CAD and GPS Setting out technicians that can take a simple 2D CAD drawing and produce a 3D model which is then converted into a DATA set for use in the GPS systems on the machines.
This equipment promotes safety and efficiencies as the setting out becomes a ‘desktop’ exercise with the need for field setting out operatives. Efficiencies through very accurate measurement and placement of excavated materials and disposal strategies.
We use Civils 3D to produce 3D models from DWGs and then convert the levels and coordinates into Data sets to allow Trimble software to be used by the Topcon on our machines.
